Drivers must be 12 years or older, at least 5′2″ tall, and under 6′6″ and 300 lbs to safely fit in the kart. A valid government-issued photo ID is required, and all drivers must complete a liability waiver. Drivers under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver.
No. A valid government-issued photo ID is required, but it does not have to be a driver's license.
We provide helmets for all drivers and conduct a mandatory driver's meeting and safety briefing before each session.
Yes. Personal helmets are permitted as long as they are DOT approved and less than 10 years old.
Yes. Helmets and other racing gear are available for purchase in the KartZone retail store.
Each session includes 8 minutes of on-track driving, plus loading, unloading, and a cool-down lap. Most guests spend approximately 12–15 minutes in the karting process.
Up to 8 karts are on track during each rental session.
The Tillotson rental karts reach speeds of up to approximately 45 mph.
Each session accommodates up to 8 drivers. Groups larger than 8 will be split into multiple sessions. Group reservations are available — see our Groups & Corporate Events page.
You can book multiple 8-minute sessions, but they must be booked one at a time with a break between sessions. There are no dedicated 30-minute or 60-minute rental options.
If you miss your reservation, we'll work with you to arrange another date whenever possible. Reservations cannot be refunded for late arrivals or no-shows.
Yes. Outdoor karting may continue in light rain if conditions are safe. Sessions may be delayed or suspended during severe weather or lightning.
If your session is canceled due to severe weather, you may choose either a refund or a credit to use on another day.
