KARTZONE NAMED EXCLUSIVE UNITED STATES IMPORTER FOR FORMULA K AND PRAGA KART
Lorain, Ohio – June 2026 – KartZone, located at Lorain Ohio Kartplex, has been appointed the exclusive United States importer for the Formula K and Praga Kart brands by IPKarting, one of the world’s leading kart chassis manufacturers.
The appointment establishes KartZone as the official source for Formula K and Praga Kart chassis, replacement parts, dealer development, technical support, and race support programs throughout the United States.
Formula K and Praga Kart are part of the IPKarting family of brands, which has built a global reputation for manufacturing high-performance kart chassis that compete at the highest levels of international motorsports. Designed and manufactured in Italy, Formula K and Praga Kart products are utilized by drivers and teams competing in regional, national, and world championship competition.
The partnership represents a significant expansion of KartZone’s growing role within the North American karting market. Operating from the 37.5-acre Lorain Ohio Kartplex motorsports complex, KartZone serves as a full-service karting dealership and service center offering chassis sales, parts, service, arrive-and-drive programs, race support, driver development, and storage solutions.
As the exclusive importer, KartZone will oversee the distribution and support of both brands throughout the United States while expanding dealer opportunities, increasing parts availability, and providing technical assistance to racers, teams, and motorsports businesses nationwide.
The agreement aligns with IPKarting’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the United States through a dedicated importer capable of providing comprehensive sales, service, and customer support while helping grow the Formula K and Praga Kart dealer network across the country.
The partnership also provides Formula K and Praga Kart with a strategic home at Lorain Ohio Kartplex, one of the newest motorsports facilities in North America. The complex features a world-class competition karting circuit, outdoor rental karting, indoor electric karting, racing simulators, event space, kart storage, and motorsports-related retail and service operations.
