Apex Karting Academy Announces Oliver Hodgson as First Pro Karting Partner and Launches Competition Karting Camps
Lorain, OH — Apex Karting Academy, based at the Lorain Ohio KartPlex in Lorain, Ohio, is excited to announce that professional kart racer and coach Oliver Hodgson has joined the program as its first Pro Karting Partner. This partnership also marks the official launch of Apex Karting Academy’s Competition Karting Camps, scheduled to take place April 2–4 and April 6–7 at the Lorain Ohio Kartplex.
Oliver Hodgson brings world-class credentials to Apex Karting Academy. Now 32, Hodgson is a highly accomplished professional karter, highlighted by his Rotax Grand Finals victory in 2013 and an exceptional streak of success at the Rotax US Trophy Finals, where he has won championships for the past four consecutive years. Beyond his success on track, Hodgson is a proven karting coach who has helped numerous drivers improve their race craft, confidence, and on-track results.
As the Academy’s initial professional partner, Hodgson will play a central role in the Competition Karting Camps, offering structured group training for drivers 8+ and have competition kart packages available for rent to help avoid transportation costs. These group sessions are recommended for drivers with prior racing experience who are looking to accelerate their development in a competitive training environment. In addition, Apex Karting Academy will offer one-to-one half-day coaching sessions with Hodgson, available to drivers ranging from beginners to elite-level competitors.
